New Guy- Nice to meet some of my people;)

Hey. I've read a ton of post and thought I'd finally join.

Here's my story...
I started a new job, did the orientation and all the basic stuff that comes with starting a new job. They have some paperwork that they gave me like a company handbook, some other information and a form to get drug tested. They didnt really mention anything about it as far as when to get done or where to go and they havent mentioned it since and I've already started.

Its been about two weeks since I smoked and I bought two home drug test from the local drug store to see if it would come up positive and it did. I'm a avid smoker, about 4 bowls a day for the last 3 years. Well I had a detox drink and did what it told me to and I took the 2nd test and it came of neg. Any thoughts? You think I should just not mention anything and wait to see if they say anything about the drug test? I'm hoping they just forget about it or something. If they do mention it, I'll just tell them I forgot and cross that bridge when I get to it.

I've heard so many stories about how the detox drinks dont work, but for me it came up neg. I think if I have to get tested Im gonna try the Quick Fix just to be on the safe side. Everyone seems to get good results with that.

I'd love to hear anyones thoughts and just wanted to say hey to everyone.

They gave you a chain of custody form? Without any instructions? How big is the company?

We give out "new hire packet" which includes a background check (which we make them fill out and turn in) and the chain of custody form (the drug testing form) and tell them which testing facility to use. Our HR person can check online for the results. She's busy, but she will eventually get around to checking on all the new hires' tests, printing the results and putting them in their files. If there are no test results (failure to appear), she'll let the hiring manager know. They could tell you to go take the test, and you can't work until your results are back... it really depends on their policy.

Most of us will tell you the magic detox potions do not work, you only passed because of dilution.

Golden Seal!!! Its a pill you can get at any head shop and worked or me and all my friends, just read back of box, and your clean!

Stonermom that's twice now you've recommended golden seal saying it cleans you out.

It doesn't work and hopefully people will think twice before taking drug testing advice from an 18 year old. How many can you have really taken at 18?

Please read up in the drug testing forum before posting such utter bullshit like golden seal cleans you out.
