Help St. Jude pre-employment physical and drug screen

Hello first time poster. I have read the stickies above, but am still nervous and have questions.

I have a pre employment drug screen and physical at St jude in fullerton california. I have purchased synthetic urine that I have used once before to pass a test. I plan on using a heating pack and strapping it to my inside leg with a ace bandage to keep it warm and hide it.

My worries are that I will be caught with it somehow during the physcial exam. Has anyone been to this clinic before? What can I expect? I am mostly worried I will have to drop my pants or get patted down for some reason. Do they even check for hernias? There isnt a good way to hide it if they cup your balls.

Any information or suggestions would be much apreciated.

I am facing a drug test very soon and I am sure I will not pass.

I used Dr. Greens Agent X. Last time I used it was about 3 years ago and it worked fine. It comes premade in a 3 oz bottle and includes a small heat pack and temp gauge on the bottle.

Last time I used it everything went fine in fact I could have just had it in my pocket the whole time. This time is a different clinic though so I am scared.

I also found out my ace bandage isnt doing the job of holding the bottle in place after walking for some distance. I will have to come up with a new method to secure it. Last time I just happened to have a giant rubber band that fit around my thigh perfectly. Im thinking of either wearing two sets of boxers and duck taping it to the inner pair or getting one of those thigh sleeves made for sports.

Gosh this sucks all for smoking weed off works hours. The laws really need to change on this type of privacy invasion. If i fail this test I am gonna let alot of people down that helped me get this job. If I had known in sufficient time I would have quit smoking for longer than a month to make sure.

Its easier to just stick it in your crotch. Wear some tighty whiteys. My experience is the companies I've worked for they do the physical first and then you get dressed and they do the UA. The way I do it is to nuke the urine for 10 seconds, rap it with the heat pad and stick it in my pocket. Do the physical and then move it into my crotch. If the temp is a little low when you pour it into the cup just rub your thumb against your clothes for a few seconds and then hold your thumb against the temp strip on the cup for a couple seconds. Let it get to 98 or 99 and step out of the room.

Well I did it! Was nerve racking as hell though. I used the thigh sleeve to hold the bottle to my leg. It held it well, it still wasnt staying too hot though.

They did things in a weird order in the clinic. They took me in weighed and measured me then did eye exam. Then they took me over for the UA. I had to empty my pockets and wash my hands then go to the room to fill the cup. I used my synthetic and it read about 94 in the cup. So I brought it out fairly quick so It wouldnt cool too much. She took it and had me wash my hands again.

Then a odd part she took the sample and hooked it up to a computer that was in the room. She ran the test didnt say anything and we moved along to the hearing test and lifting tests.

Then she had me wait in a room for the doctor. I was wondering if I should ditch the empty bottle and heating pad in the trash. It was still on my leg. I decided against it because I didnt wanna get caught in the act when the doc came in.

He came in soon and checked my ears throat etc. Then at the end what I had been dreading all along happened. He made me drop my pants for a hernia check. I balked at first not knowing what to do and he kept rushing me saying come on lets get it done. So I dropped them alittle but not all the way and he did a quick check and said I was fine.

He said good luck with the new job and issued me out.

So I think im clear hurray!:)

I am still alittle paranoid that the computer they used for the UA could detect synthetic though.Wouldnt they have told me right away though ?

I don't think she would have gone on to the lifting and hearing test if you had failed.

They aren't going to congratulate you on passing the test. That's what is expected and although we want some sign of an "attaboy", no news is good news. If you had failed, the nurse had plenty of time to notify the doctor, and he wouldn't have told you good luck with the new job.
