hey guys i keep reading bad and good stuff about kc brains mango but can someone tell me anything good this strain..
while I have personally never grown out any KC Brains' gear, he has a terrible reputation, the last few years ... once hailed as a quality seeder, something happened, I guess ... ??? ... I'd look elsewhere for Mango ... :smokin:
well i already have them so guess i gotta see what they do
I have used kc since 1998 and have had good results, most of his stuff is for real large outdoor plants. I used kc33 and 36 in my own strain crosses for specific characteristics. I did mango about 5 years back and it went well. Let us know how yours goes as I was thinking of trying some new things i saw at attitude from kc. Maybe since i dealt with his product awile ago something has happened I did here he liked those crazy Brazilian girls and you know what that will do to ya. Good luck Peace
yeah i will deff post up about the kc mango it say they finish in september so im hoping they do..
i grew out some kc mango several years ago both indoors and out and it did well in both but the outdoor wasn't quite finished by september, i had to bring it inside oct1st because the rain was so bad.yeild off a four foot multi top trained plant was roughly 3&1/2 oz, turned kinda purple and was stoney as fuck! indoors i could yield 3/4-1oz per small plant grown in a sog style one main cola in a 1 gal pot and sometimes if i veged a extra few days id get 1 3/4oz. after 3 or four generations of cloning i noticed that it was ever so slightly hermie & would occasionally get two or three feminized mango seeds so you might want to keep a close eye on that. i have also grown out the haze special, bahia blackhead, cyber crystal, tnr, and mindbender, and out of those the bahia and mango had slight hermie issues, but with the bahia one was identified as a male which later hermed into a female, first time i have ever seen that in 7 years of croppin
I grew K.C.Brains Danky Doodle back in 2009 from Seed the plant grew good, it needs lots of space and grown indoors needs at 600 watts or more per plant, mine grew well under a 400 watt but got to big and the 400 did not put out enough light and started flower and even after putting it out doors it still continue to flower and flowered most of the summer 2009, K.C brains grow inside using Fox Farm Big Grow, If you vege inside put them outside before they reach 60 days/8weeks/2months (some auto flowering traits):rasta:Quote:

With Strains like Lea Uno and the Kc 33 and Mango I usually vege in one to three gallon pot with fox farm big gro and soon as the light period goes to 13 hour days I plant in the ground or in 10 gallon bucket with composted soil and organic matter with either Sea bird Guano or High Nitrogen Bat Guano, usually by the week or on 4-20 the plant has grown to two feet or more and the day light hours of gone from 12.5 hours to 13 hours and the plants will grow and not flower..using frost protecting tents..

I have grown it a while back. The taste is nice but the THC is not very high. I agree, these are probably best outdoors.
