I want a pipe, but I don't smoke.

I used to smoke, but decided I didn't want to continue so I stopped one day. Haven't smoked since.

During that time I did smoke, I used homemade bongs and stuff. I never had a glass piece.


Now, I want a glass pipe. Just to keep it in my room in a case or something. No particular reason to own one, but I want one. My buddies tell me it's a poser thing to do, but I don't feel that way.

I don't think I'll start smoking again if I buy the pipe. That's not the point anyway. Maybe I'm trying to reconnect with my smoking days for some reason, I don't know.


Have any of you been in this situation or know somebody like this?

well i hate to say it...but i think its kinda a bad idea...why buy something u dont need? thats kinda over doin it dont u think?? spend that money on something u will use rather than just throw in a drawer and forget about... but it is YOUR money...do what u want :)

I know a girl who used to like how the packs of ciggerettes looked on the outside so she kept a few boxes as decorations.. Didn't smoke. LOL

I don't see anything wrong with it, as long as you let guests use it :)

I keep a stash box filled with goodies for my guests; I do not smoke myself.

Even if you don't have guests who smoke, there is nothing wrong with keeping a glass pipe just for the looks of it. They don't call it glass art for nothing and people don't buy multiple pipes just to spend their money.

i dont see any problem with it. i mean, its your money, and if you enjoy it why let others tell you you cant. thats the whole point of being a different person. and hell you dont have to start smoking again, but if you get the urge to do so, even once you will always have a bowl. and no need to hide it, though watch out for the sticky fingers of the people you know. i have a co worker who bought a bowl and doesnt smoke anymore, he did get it on the cheap, but he just has it now.

No point in buying it if you aint gonna smoke from it yourself.. Its like buying a bag of weed and just putting it away and not smoking from it..
