Connecticut Drug Testing Question

Hey guys!

First post on this forum. Surprised I haven't seen this site sooner cause it's got lots of cool stuff.

anyways...

I was charged with possession of > 4oz and as part of my drug program I comply with "random" drug testing. I got a letter in the mail today that I am to meet with someone next Friday and i'm thinking it's possible they may give me a drug test then (even though everyone I've asked in my area says they didn't get tested for a first offense possession charge)

Now I'm pretty sure they assume your urine will still be dirty but what are the best precautions to take to quicken the process of getting it out of my system.

I'm not looking to be 'clean' by Friday but the lower the THC levels the better I think. Lots of the information I found was from years ago and I'm sure drug tests are a bit different now.

I'm feeling really paranoid guys even though I probably shouldn't be. Were you tested for a first offense possession charge? How should I go about this?
(I will not be smoking anymore until I get this all figured out)

To help get clean. Exercise, a high fiber diet and maybe take some metamucil. Drinking tons of fluids will not help you get clean.

You think its safe to assume they expect a failed test the first time around? My lawyer says an early positive wouldn't be enough to violate me as they assume it's just residual.
