hey im gettin my glass pipe in a few days, and ive never used one. Don't mean to sound dumb, but do glass pipes come standard with a choke? When do you hold the choke and when do you let go? Does the glass help to cool down the smoke a lot as opposed to a metal pipe? I've only used metal before when it comes to everything ive smoked, is there a major difference? thanks
If by choke u mean carb ( i dunno if its supposed to be called choke or carb but everyone i know says carb) then you are supposed to hold it until your about to end the hit then u let it go to clear the smoke left over in any kinda chamber in your pipe. Most glass pipes come with carbs (chokes) even if they dont have a large chamber cause they look nice and u can scrape your resin out through them. :DQuote:

thanks for replying man, ive heard it as carb and choke, so i just picked one, sorry if there was any confusion. I just tried it out, and it hits so nice. Thanks man.

NIce Pipe!! Just make sure you buy some good cleaner fer that! And do NOT put it under running water----IT'll break!! NOt jokin! My boyfriend broke his that way.. what a bummer..
hey man. me and my friends have a couple of those and we just clean them by letting them sit in boiling water for a while. They never break and it cleans it pretty good. Here we call the hole to clear the pipe a "toke".
...we call it a Rush here, lol.
