the leaves are curling up...about to switch the lights...please help...(pics)

ok ..hey everyone...been a while since i was on here...this is my second grow....this strain i did last time..turned out great...its super ice...nice purple indica..so its just potting soil...400 watt mh bulb..and about to go to a 400 hps for flowering..using nute about 2 -3 times a week at the most...and i started germination on jan8....with that being said...all the leaves are curling up..a few have brown tips...i dont want to lose these so any advice will be much appriecated..the last pic is what the end result was of my last grow for this strain...thanks again yall from the swamps!!!!lol

what are you feeding?

Could be overnute, too close to lighting, possibly heat stress or abnormal ph. What's the ph of the water you use and do you know the runoff ph?

It's becouse your PH is too high ...up-curl ph is high ..down-curl ph is low..flush with balanced water,then check the PH value of your run off. in soil you wanna be at around 6.8 PH.

Actually I have to disagree with that part about upturned leaves/high ph/down turned leaves/low ph. I've never found that to be true and quite frankly have never even heard the theory before.

Upturned edges like that make me think HEAT first, ph second, overnute third. But without more info I'm just guessing.

Do too short-term memory loss (not sure why i'd have that..) I dont recall where i read it..But i did indeed read it from a reputable source =) . So jason..check your run off ph and tell what that number is.also what ph do you water them at?

not to sound like a dick but...its soil people...not hydro...i am thinking light ..but i wanted to see what yall thought....the light is probably 8 in to a foot...and its a mh 400 watt

So the answer is...you dont have a clue what the PH is....like i said ..it's too high ...thats the thing.

Flush your girl's with PH balanced water.Im not guessin i do this shit for a living.
