How do you use the Natural Goods Vaporizer?

I have the digital Natural Goods Vaporizer.

How exactly is it used? You insert the whip, turn the knob all the way up until it heats and reads 455 degrees....but then are you supposed to turn it back down again so it finds the right temperature? Does it take a while to get it right?

There are a few videos on this vape on youtube that may help. I do know the unit reads the wand temp, so you're supposed to connect the empty whip and preheat, then load and reconnect. You didn't get any instructions with it?
