well as it say's almost every time i smoke weed i get depersonalisation no anxiety just depersonalisation, and i can't stand it totally kills the high and it last till next next morning.. is there anything that i can do about it??

Explain in more detail what you mean by "depersonalization"...feeling like outside looking in or more like derealization, things don't seem real? Are you certain its not a severe panic/anxiety attack? These type feeling are regularly asscociated with panic/anxiety as well as from suffering a severe trauma. In addition these feelings are also common with clinical depression, bipolar disorder and sleep deprivation. I have a severe sleep disorder as well as bipolar and I feel a little like that when I stay up a few nights. Check with a Doc but in the meantime try a dif strain or switch to/from Sativa/Indica. Have you been smoking long? Or have you went from Mexican mower deck weed to some banger? If you cant find answers then you may just have to quit burn in'.

some people just have different personalities and act different when high. you obviously dont like to be upbeat or outgoing while high, instead relaxing and chill maybe. its fine just be yourself and dont let it get in your head.
relax and just enjoy the high and it will all be natural. :)

Depersonalization is nothing more that undoing all of the BS programming societ put into you. Look at it this way, youre headed in the right direction. Maybe it might open your horizons and you will see more than hot chicks, maybe smart hot chicks...
It's that type of feeling like nothing is real, like you looking at the world from a bubble, it does start off as anxiety but i can control that felling well. its just the depersonalisation that stays with the high.. i would say i have been smoking for 4 years every day till i had my first anxiety attack, went to the doc and he gave me tablets called pur-bloka (dont get them in usa) they got rid of my attacks and i slowly learned how to control them. but the depersonlisation is another story i cant control it and that what kills me, doesn't matter what strain i try either sativa/indica they both after a bit of smoking start depersonlisation even if i have a bit to drink i can feel the effects!! i mean i really think there's something wrong with me:( anyways i have stopped for the mean time and that means everything drinking smoking cig's and weed and hope that help's i really don't want to stop weed i love it that much:)Quote:

Well... despersonalization is one usual effect of weed... many people gets it when they smoke... so i think the best thing you can do is to get used to it... or wait until you develop some tolerance, which will diminish all the weeds effects, including the despersonalization.Quote:

Mild dissociation is with weed is very comon, that's one thing many people like about it, especialy for depression. But for some people, it can feel terrible.
It never bothered me until I had my first panic attack while high. Then some time later I had a panic attack for the first time sober and was dissociated for 2 days straight. Felt emotionless, with a bit of fear, everything had a foreign look and seemed fake, felt like I was in another dimension but was also here, and like It was an endless high without the positive feelings.
Since then I have had anxiety about anything drug related, can't even drink without getting a panic attack. Anything mind altering scares me. dp is the one of few things i hate about being high now and I havent smoked for 7 months. :( I really miss being high, and logically I should fear it, but I do. My brain subconsciously associates weed with anxiety now. I really love weed to. :(
Ill overcome it eventually. My anxiety is almost gone but I'm still to scared to get high. If you overcome the anxiety fully, then the dp shouldnt bother you, it's probably because of the anxiety, or maybe the dp causes your anxiety.
