Third world teqniques? I Feel Love!

I am what Rizome calls a "Marley Type" ~25g's a week and I'm not going to make it to harvest time due an unfortunate event. I am outdoor farmer, that needs to dable in the complexities of growing in a fabricated enviroment, in a third world country.I am growing in an artificial soil composed of peat(40%) porous mineral(40%) the ballance made of leucerne(legume forage-alfalfa almost), cotton seed and cotton seed hulls all which are ground finely. and limestone, which leads me to my inquiry. I mixed this about a week ago, and my litmus tells me close to ph8. Is this because my limestone has not reacted with the peat yet, or did I overdo the limestone? My plants look so funny with some light green, some dark, some tall, some tiny. They are all different seeds from everywhere, and yes I mixed the soil very well. The limestone was locally gathered and pulverized by myself. I am having difficulty gathering a runoff sample that is coveted, because the plants are in 25kg gunny-knapp-burlap-wtf you call em sacks. What would be a non-comercial(viniger, stomach acid) ph down?
G-d bless you, and those among you.

I have another qestion- I'ts about 15c in here(no heat), and I am running a 400w hps, and I was curious what optimal soil and air temps are. The search feature is very difficulte to use in respect to these figures. This light uses almost all my available electricty.

I have sulfur, can I use sulfur dioxide, iron sulfate, or some other compound that can easily be rendered from the stuff that will have more alkilinity.
