Vapir One owners read
i got a vapir one from a friend, and have used it daily for a few months now. and i started having problems with it heating up.
upon taking the unit apart, i found a small thermal switch located on the inside wall next to the heating element.
i opened the connection and noticed a small amount of corosion on the terminals (much like points on old style car's cap and rotors) and filed them litely till it was all gone.
after i reassembled it, i fired it up. and it started heating almost instantly. and i didnt have to take a hairdrier to the bottom of the fan to jumpstart it.
ive also learned to pull a hit just like you would out of a pipe. this will stop any of the leaking commonly complained about. and other then that, i havent had any problems with the unit. for the money i dont think its that bad. and with this simple fix, its working just like it were brand new.
