Problems when smoking weed

I love to get stoned and i love my weed.I have being smoking for a few years.Not every day but every few weeks.

But i can smoke it anymore.

When i smoke now i fel like i am having a heart attack.

My heart starts to beat very fast i find it hard to catchmy breath and i panic.

This happens me anytime i smoke.

2 nights ago i took about 6 pulls from a joint of grass.Within 10 mins i felt bad.

I had to sit in the bathroom for 2 hours with a wet towel on my face.I taught i might have to go to the hospital..


I know the solution to the problem no more weed.Which is annoying because i dont like other drugs but its just something that has to be done.

The reason im posting is to see if anyone can explain what causes this.

Or if its happened anyone before.

are you smoking a new strain of weed? That could cause this if it's somthing new and makes you uncomfortable.

was their tobacco in the joint? I know i use to feel the exact same way when I would smoke spliffs or blunts and it was the tobacco that was fucking me up. I smoke cigs now though so it doesn't really effect me, but that could be part of the problem, or you might just be smoking too much

It doesnt matter what th strain is it still has the same effect.I know its not the weed because it didnt happen anyone else that smoked it.

I have done some research and it turns out that cannabis will make some people have anxiety/panic attacks.

Fuuny thing is im a pretty relaxed person so dont know what could be causing the attacks.

I recently finished Chemotherapy after having testicular cancer(Check your balls lads) so i taught that might be causing it but it happened before i had the cancer and chemotherapy.

I suppose thats just the way it goes instead of getting pi**ed of that i cant smoke anymore just think of the good times i had while i was smoking.

Its not from smoking too much because it was just a small amount i had.Ah well time to donate my Ounce of Weed lol

I'd suggest taking just one hit, and see how you feel. As we age, tolerance decreases.

My heart rate goes to 100 or more when I vape even a small amount of high-altitude Sativa.

You may have a mitral valve prolapse, or murmer, which are very common and not usually dangerous. I have them.

Try eating fish at least a couple of times a week, if you don't already, or if you don't eat fish take fish oil capsules, or krill oil. I also take extract of hawthorne berry, and Co-Q10, both of which help the heart to normalize.

The best idea would be to see a cardiologist and get your heart checked out. You don't have to mention the weed smoking.

there's a possibility that it could just be purely psychological. This happens to me sometimes, not to the extremes that you described it, but sometimes I feel like my heart rate increases also and it always makes me nervous.

You just have to remind yourself that it's impossible to die on just weed (see: Annual Causes of Death in the United States | Drug War Facts), and that you'll be fine. All you gotta do is try to relax, and make sure you're in a situation where you'll feel comfortable.

I'd say that next time you smoke, just smoke the minimum. Most people underestimate how effective just one or two hits could be. Give it a few minutes to soak in, and you'll definitely feel it... but not too much that you'll be on the bathroom floor.

My heart was checked recently.SO i would imagine its all in the mind.

I eat fish every day,Take Vitamins and im very active.I dont eat fat or anything else bad for me.

Il make a joint to night and just take 1 pull and see how i am.Il come back here and let ye know how i get on

I know swagg and mexican based sativas do me the same way. I already suffer from panick attacks and elevated heart rate due to the great operation Iraqi freedom.
You have to remember that smoking naturally raises the heart rate. As long as you are not having any pain its fine. Some weed does it more than others and some people react differently than others. So its all in how you toke. I would just take one hit at a time! It gives you the high but at a weaker strength.

well it sounds like your having a panic attack when smoking weed...wich isnt rare at all, weed gives u anxiety that could lead to other things such as a panic attack/fear.

take a xanax bar before smoking and it wont happen =D

Has nothing to do with chemotheraphy from testicular cancer. You just have to kind of tough it out until you get used to the feel again. It affects everyone differently.

I have the polar opposite. No pot = anxiety and panic attacks. Makes me want to smoke right now, but I gotta be strong no cannabis for me for a while :(
