bud on fan leaf normal??

please see the pic attached i have seen this somewhere else on this forum a while ago and cant remember if it is a bad thing or nothing to worry about any input is appreciated

Not normal at all, but VERY cool! That's a rare but totally harmless (and some would say desirable) mutation.

thanks stinky... you never seem to let us down with your responces:thumbsup:.. and as far as the mutation goes i have about 7 clones going from this plant and was going to use one as a mother.. with this mutation in the gene pool is that a wise idea or could it give me head aches down the road... and thanks for the speedy reply :Tomcat:

The only potential problem would be if the buds sit there on a vegging mother too, because then you could have a hard time cloning without rot. Even that is avoidable. I hope you like hash or canna-medicated-butter-food... because once you get sick of trimming those little puffies you're gonna be making secondary products instead.
