I give it a wider look... if I see what looks like a hundred trichs, and 10 or 12 look amber, than I figure I'm at around 90% cloudy / 10% amber.
It's approximate, of course.

Don't restrict your trichome check to one area, either.
Look at several different sites, and then kinda average it out in your mind.... Some buds may mature a little faster than others, such as the little ones lower down that aren't receiving as much light. Your main cola may show cloudy/amber, while your lower nugs may still be at clear/cloudy. :D
now can i harvest what is ready with the main colas and the lower buds when they are mature or will cutting affect the other buds finish:jointsmile:
Sure, lots of people do it that way... Harvesting buds as they are ready and leaving others to mature a little longer.Quote:
