Please anyone with alot of medical knowledge! Why black mucose?!

Can someone with medical knowledge help me out here? im 17 years old and smoke weed every day and have for like a year and a half, but it was only like 3 times a week a year before that, so like 2 and a half years in all. For the passed 3-4 months, i have been seeing black crap in my mucose. It started really little, like only tiny specs like once every week, but within the last month its been increasing alot. its usually only happens after i take a nice rip (i only smoke bongs) that is more than my avg bowl, and i start caughing and spit the black spec'd loogie out. but now within the last week or so, after almost all my hits im caughing more than usual, and after a really nice session ill caugh up a nice loogie with wayy more black shit in it in it than usual. and now within the last like 2 days its been in a few of my loogies even when im not smoking.
I did my research and found out the black shit is probably blood... i had to get my wisdome teeth evaluated a few days ago, so i told my oral surgeon that theres been some black shit in my mucose and the dumbass said it was probably cuz of my air conditioner and the weather, and i shouldnt worry????? shit...
Im mainly wondering is if its cancer or something serious... so if anyone has seen this or has had it happen to them and know what it is, please let me know before i make my parents make a doctor appoitment for checking to see if i have cancer and i dont want to sound like one of those hypocondriachs to my doctor or my family lol. i did find a site that didnt seem to be to solid of evidence but it way saying that black mucose is common for some pot smokers that dont smoke ciggeretes, cuz its like the poisons, but ive also seen sights that say the black shit are chunks of my lungs.... So yea some knowledge would be much appreciated, thanks. ohh yea and idk if this is a factor, but my herb is super dank from medical clubs in so cal sfv, and im pretty sure those are harsher for the lungs so idk if that would be a factor or not.

hi guy, i have to say every mornin when i woke up and took a shower, i cough up black in my loogie, but thats when i was smokingg cigs, just quit last week so imma see if it continues, but to me i think it was just all the crap that builds up in throat and i cough it up when i wake up, but it stopped so i might be good, but deff see a doctor and see whats up

The stuff from your lungs is grayish or black, right? Not brownish black or having a few flecks of red? If it were bleeding, I'd expect to see a bit of fresh blood now and then! You are smoking! Smoke particles are black. Smoke coats the lungs, some sticks and the lungs try to clean themselves.

Get a vaporizer (Vapor brothers are good), use it exclusively, and in 2 weeks I'm willing to bet the problem will be gone! (no smoke, no black!)

On the slim chance that it doesn't get gone after 2 weeks of vaping,(or if you are seeing any red flecks) I'd get me to a doctor!

yea this stuff is most definitely not resin, especially from my pipe either, considering all i use are top of the line ROORS. the black stuff is either blood or chunks of my lungs, because whenever i do caugh with the black shit, it feals like im puting a big strain on my lungs and ill feal some small sharp pains in my center breastplate in the center of my lungs.
i found a site that was saying that it could be small chunks of my lungs, but its not bad because as being a pot user, im actually geting rid of all that dead lung particles, unlike with ciggerette smokers it would stay there and cause lung cancer much faster. idk tho. this mornign i have a caugh, probably from my cold. i have been caughing that black shit up all morning, and not even one session today..... but last night me and one friend blazed 1.5 of some Honey Buds, which is bud soaked and covered in THC oil and is super harsh on the lungs =/ Any more advice is much appreciated. thanks

Storm Crow, what about using a torch and glow rod? ive had friends tell me that those are the same as vaporizors. its where u torch a glass rod till its super hot than u touch the herbles and the bong is milked and u have the most clean hit u can imagin, besides a valcano. the reason i ask is i dont have another 400 dollors to put down on a smoking utensal, considering me and my brother have put over 800 dollors down on ROOR bongs as it is lol.

The main thing going on here is the difference between bronchial dilators and constrictors. Tobacco is a bronchial constrictor whereas Cannabis is a bronchial dilator; this means smoking tobacco will tighten and close the pathways in your lungs where Cannabis will open them up. Nicotine constricts terminal bronchioles in lungs, which keeps tars trapped in the tissue. Its there these chemicals do their worst. THC and the chemicals associated with MJ are dilators. This allows the particulate matter (black mucus) etc., to be expelled, thereby eliminating their effects "on contact" with lung tissue. Anytime you smoke youâ??re going to have a presence of mucus.

For me MJ has a slight allergic reaction just like my everyday allergies. However it is this very bodily reaction that protects us from long term contacts with allergens, by allowing "matter" to be trapped and expelled. So, the "Black Phlegm" is a good thing.
