Anyone know about plants? reactions

Prob a silly question to anyone on here but does anyone know anything about reactions of plants with volatile oils.I just need to know what reacts with certain plants that give colour.I know all volatile oils have different constituents i know about those.Its the plant part i dont know but is there just one chemotype or a single ingredient that does it such as cineole or something like the euganol or linalool as the main %.Or can it depend on the way its distilled to the different way it reacts? Maybe someone can help.

I'm not even high and I have no clue what you're talking about well I may not be high but this LSA is pretty tight. Anyways I still have no idea what in the hell are you trying to tuen your bud colors with oil?
