New to the forum so first I would like to say hello to everyone. I was just wondering has anyone ever tried using the little home garden (AeroGarden). I know it wouldn't give u the largest plant but just really wondering.

maybe try it on some low ryder.
i wa sthinking of the same thing.......... where can i buy fogger nozzles at besides a local hydro shop?
I think that would be the best thing to only try shorter plants. If anyone has any pics or comments of growing with this system i would appreciate.
Don't bother unless you want really small mother plant. Not enough light there to make a blunt. for the money I would go with a phototron for mothers. No phototron's don't make buds either just good for cloning.
These can be used to start seedlings or clones, however! They are over priced and its hard to get the spare bulbs. Not actualy that practical as the plastic holder that the roots grow through has to be removed, which is tricky and can damage roots. The bulb is not that powerfull and would be no use for flowering, you can get a big specialy made cfl for way cheaper that can plug into a normal socket.
dont waste your money
Thanks for the advice. It makes since once you look at it. Definetley not enough room or light.
Hi, High Times did an article on growing using one of these and on icmag Mdanzig of Mdanzig Seeds did a grow. The newer models pro 200 and deluxe have more lights then the original and the lights go higher 24 inches. I think they are good for autoflowering strains and to start your seeds.
Forget flowering anything with these but they could be great for veg, plenty of light with the deluxe/pro models to grow some bushy little plants from seed/clone as they have 3 CFL's under a reflective hood and give you two feet of space vertically...it would make alot of sense to prune plants to keep them short and bushy in this set-up. If you wanted to flower with these I believe you can remove the light fixture from the top and put them under a brigther light like a 250/400 hps to flower them in a small space.
People have also added a basic aquarium pump & air stone to oxygenate the nutrient solution as well as used quality hydro nutrients as opposed to the tablets they include with the system.
