Hello, I'm new to the lighting scene and I'm intrigued to the idea of using LED's and CFL's to make some pretty pretty. Any help, for problems i might encounter or should prevent, would rock my world.
Lot of 100 X 3mm Blue LED Lamps 15000mcd Free Resistors - eBay (item 220302396914 end time Nov-03-08 17:44:13 PST)
Since these are my first leds i went with these cheap 15000mcd blue led's, and similar 13000 red Led's.
I'm using a PC power supply (need specs?) connected to the pcb by a molex connector, I don't fully understand the need and demand for wattage and such, so
can ya help a brotha in need?:rastasmoke:

Here is my board so far; to the best of my abilities. There are two LED's per resistor. (routes aren't quite finished, but i get the idea)
Anyway, I plan to blast her with these led's from the top, in addition to hangin 4 100w equivalent CFL's around it.
My questions......
1. Would i be better spending my money on tube florescent?
2. Are my LED's sufficiant?
3. Should i invest in a UV light? (some threads tell me its necessary)
4. Come on, will this work?
I'm going to go enjoy nebraska's worst. Thanks in advanced for this help and all the help you've already given me. :hippy::jointsmile::wtf::thumbsup:
