first time growing, need advice on set up

so i was thinking of building two grow cabinets one small for a mother plant and another larger, taller one for growing the plants with the magic lol. i have been reading a lot and studying but i would appreciate any advice on anything from materials to strand and growing neccesities. thanks. sleepy:greenthumb:

Building cabinets = lots of work. There are better ways of doing things for first-time grows.

Nobody can answer those questions you asked...you need to figure out how many plants you want to flower, how big you're going to want them to be, how much you want to spend, etc. Check around the different threads for info, or search for cabinets (or Rubbermaid...the Rubbermaid grows seem to work well).

I like that you want to build two grow cabinets...Are you a carpenter???So many people come here sayin',they never did grow number one,but they want to split their closet or cabinet to veg and/or clone and flower on the other side,lol!!!
Intake on the bottom,outtake on the top,plus whatever else it takes if anything to cool your lights...:)

cheap and easy is use 2x3's make frames, one 2ft x 4ft x 4ft (veg) and one 4ftx 4ft x8ft(flowers) or close too those dimentions, use the black&white mylar for walls use staplegun, duct tape too tack up. done hang the lights a fan and your off too the show! :thumbsup:
