Im trying to replace the bag on my solid valve volcano, and there is no "stripe" in the box of the bag to seal the end of the balloon. How do I seal it without this stripe? Am i doing something wrong?

I use the easy valve, so that's all I could find.
Thanks for the response. I know how to change the bag, I just don't have the peice needed for the top to seal it off so no vapor can escape. Does any one know if I can use a rubber band or something?
The bag that came with it has a metal clip looking peice that creates an air tight seal, this is what im looking for.
Ok I understand now ... but I don't know the answer. You could just use a regular oven bag which already has the back end sealed and only one open end. That's what I use in mine and they only cost like $3 for 6 bags. They are shorter than the original volcano bags, but wider.
We had the same problem, we were completely blazed and it tooks us about 2 hours to figure this out. If you unfold the new bag there will be a strip, its made out of the same material the bags are. We didnt think it would seal as good as the metal piece, so we used a piece of wire.
Yeah, I saw that strip of bag material when I unfolded it, but there is no way im trusting that to seal the bag off. I ended up using about five rubber bands and a couple hair ties to seal off the end, works well so far.
Maybe ill try zip ties next time.
Thanks for the feedback
use a zip tie....kite string.....wire twist ties for plastic bags
