I just finished building my grow room and all I need are lights.. I want to use HPS bulbs.. If I plan on having around 10-15 plans.. What wattage bulbs and how many do you think I would need? Also could you please post a good link to a reliable, affordable site on the net? I've been reading on here for a few hours and most of my questions were answered but I just want to make sure..

it depends what u want, how much space u have i gro about the same amount and theyre under 400w my friend does the same and his gett bigger but his are under a 1000w. not to mention heat from the different sizes and how you vent it
Approximately 50 watts per sq ft of grow space is about the norm but people do often go over over that amount up to around 100w per sq ft. You'll probably need at least two for decent light distribution but all this depends on the size and shape of the space and perhaps lumen output of the bulbs.
