Hey all I was wondering about the hash you can purchase in dispen. I am unable to make anything due to a living situation, which I am fine with because I can't cook worth a damn anyway. So I was wondering about buying hash from a dispen. Is there a certain way to smoke Hash and/or Kief? If so please explain, keeping in mind I am a marijuana "newbie". What is the difference between Hash Oil and regular Hash? Any information would be very appreciated, thanks!

Bubble hash is usally packed into little balls. Some get pretty dried out. Honey oil is a very thick oil, almost like glue. Smoke bubble hash in a regular pipe. Honey oil just smear on a little bud.
You can put hash or oil on top of your bud to smoke.
Hash: on your bud
Kief: same
oil: kut pipe, oil burner (puki pipe), on top of your bud, hot knives use titanium metal. Or light a hookah coal and put some oil on it and suck with a straw.
Bubble hash: you can roll a little ball up and light it on fire with your lighter. Let it burn for like 15 secs then blow it out. Put clear cup over it and wait till it fills with smoke. Then suck with a straw. Cover and repeat. Lasts a while too.
There's also special bowls and pipes for hash, kief, etc...
As far as I know:
Most of the active ingredients in mj are produced in tiny resin glands called trichomes. You can knock the trichomes off in various ways - sifting, water process, whatever. You take your collected trichomes & press them into a solid mass - that's hash.
OR you can use various chemical solvents - butane & alcohol are the most popular - to melt the trichomes. Then the solvent is evaporated out, & the remaining resin is called, you guessed it - hash oil.
Good BHO (butane hash [or honey, for the color] oil) is generally reckoned to be strongest & purest mj preparation most people are likely to come across. It can also be a royal pain in the ass to deal with, as it's essentially a little blob of tar.
