FUCK, so i switched to 12/12 literally yesterday and now my ballast isn't working. it's a 600w galaxy digital. any suggestions? i've tried changing cords from my box of random parts and still no luck. it's only a year old, 3 year warranty but i lost the damn recipit. so no free replacement. dare i open it up and take a look? man this seems to be my luck this round. anyone with any digi ballast info it would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
I doubt you can repair it. I would just setup a bunch of cfl's till you can get another ballast. I would still contact the people you bought it from and see if they can help you out.
yep it's shot, but that's what the pile of old coil ballasts come into play, still i'm a little pissed that a ballast under warranty(3 year) won't be replaced by my shop or by galaxy. so my 2 cents is i'm buying a lumatek in a few weeks. fuck galaxy if it's shot in a year
I'm not sticking up for Galaxy, or your retailer, but if you didn't register, and keep, a copy of your Warranty, you shouldn't be pissed at them ... good luck with your Grow, regardless :thumbsup:
