new guy needs help on fish light(10k 250watt mh)

I'll cut right to the chase: Its damn near proven uvb light helps THC production. I'd really like to add some uvb to my grow i'm about to post, their 3wks old and have been deprived of many key essential things they need. question is, will my 250watt metal halide provide enough uvb to make it worth while? The bulb is a 10,000k. I bought it for a fish tank and then decided to start growing solely with it. Big mistake. I know mh produces more uvb than hps and hps produces more usable light than mh but the real question is will a 10,000k bulb produce more uvb than a 6500k or should i just buy some reptile lights and cycle them 3times a day/30mins?

I'd buy a real bulb for the metal halide but I'm waiting to buy a larger mh/hps, so for now they'll stay under 26 and 42watt cfl's. I fed them nothing but micro nutrients for 3 wks before i bought a starter kit to get me on the right path. :D
