Mold Question
Will trimming mold from buds on a plant slow the plant growth down????? Also I have one plant that needs attention with the mold...I am curious if this is the only plant that has visible mold will it spread to the others??? My plants are outdoors and in the ground. My first plant that went into flower has been now flowering for 9 weeks how long do they go for??? So many questions.....I have never done surgery on a plant before. I will try to post pic's later.....but if you can answer my first question that would help alot. THANKS~!!!

Mold Question
Is it powdery mildew or Botrytis (bud mold) ?
Powdery (white) mildew can be controlled with Serenade.
Botrytis (grey mold) can be treated with Trichoderma or Gliocladium roseum in the early stages. Evaporated sulfer will help alot but applying it would be tricky.
Treat mold like a contageous virus, it will destroy your crop if left unchecked. Cut it out at least one or two inches below the mold with shears dipped in rubbing alcohol.
Got any pics of the damage?
With 9 weeks of flowering seems like they should be ready. Only nearly pure Sativa strains need more than that especially if the temps are getting cold.

Mold Question
Yeah definitey prune the bad buds out immediately. It will spread fast. The moldy buds can be turned into honey oil.

Mold Question
I cut the mold out. I was bummed because it hit my nicest plant. All my plants are either budding slow but I did get a week straight of rain and that does not help. These plants had better really start to fill out if I am going to get anything in 3 weeks. I have ordered Serenade and I should have it Tuesday. How do I apply????
Right now my Days are in the 50's and my Garden only gets 5 hours of sun per day......I dunno I hope I get something. These were taken 3 days ago. I am quite bummed out. What will it be like if I have to harvest it early??? I think it was the sun that had an effect on growth. I will put them in a differnt place next year tis was a quick decision.....but then I got excited as they grew ya know?????

Mold Question
wow I can see the powdery mildew on the leaves. Try to spray the Serenade at least on the affected areas mixed according to the directions.
Take a look at the trichs and see if they are close to being done. I would just keep an eye on them and use the spray, hope for the best. If you see them going bad cut them and save what you can.
It looks like the plants are being shaded from trees?
You'll want full sun for your next grow or you can try to start them early or get a greenhouse and a space heater.
Hopefully the weather will cooperate. Good luck

Mold Question
LOL No that is not powdery mildew you see I took those pic's right after the rain anything white on my leaves is bird shit. I have sunflowers in the garden. I would have been freaking out and seen powdery mildew.
Yes my garden does get shaded I get 5 hours sunshime per day that is why I use black plastic. I think I need to plant them earlier...did not get them out until June 21....3 weeks late~!! I will use the Serenade thanks

Mold Question
You might try building a temporary plastic greenhouse over them till they get finished. It will help keep temps up during the day and keep the rain off them.
