You will want to have GOOD strains that have a good yield. A popular name helps, but quality is what matters in my opinion. Keep up to date on new strains and be the first in your area with the great new genes. You can sell bud and clones that way.
It was easy to recognize and list some the Strainreview website and I found there reviews helpful, but take the info with a grain of salt.
Pot of Gold (one of my fav)
Blueberry
Northern Lights
Kush types
Mango - a.k.a. Green Crack. BCBD has more of a stable version than KC Brains I hear.
Cheese
God Bud
Blue Cross (Northern Lights x Blueberry)
Hash Plant
Sensi Star (another fav)
Gold Star (Sensi Star x Pot of Gold) - Current smoke, love it
Some popular sativas just incase you are wondering:
Haze - In all it's forms... Long flowering
Trainwreck - Grows kinda wonky with unsemetrical arms
Jack Herer
Kali Mist
Strawberry Cou Kee
I've heard good things about Black Indica, Endless Sky, and Critical Mass
the last two in particular can be high yielding with a good grower, planning to grow them myself once I have the means too, unfortunately not for a few years.
Nice thread.
I'm going to be choosing a strain that will knock me out
at night, and cut alcohol for sleep (bad deal when you have Hep C).
Side note: does this website stand behind the seed banks sponsors?
One of the primary ones has a "special" going on where all strains are 20.00 us, and that seems pretty sweet, since funds are low.
Only need a few to have a supply for what I need " 'till the end" (when ever that is)!
If you live in the USA, seeds have to go through customs, the shipper is required to state what is being shipped in the package.
Problem with seed banks is you dont know if the seeds are sterial, you can shell out $2-300 on seeds only to have it confiscated and the only person who gets soaked is you
I have heard some pretty good things about...
--> White Berry (WW X BB i think) High times said " It's also a great nighttime smoke, with soothing qualities that can induce a peaceful, easy feeling perfect for sitting on the couch with a bong. Medical patients also highly recommend white berry for muscle spasms and restless-leg syndrome". And It flowers in 7 weeks. look it up @ paradise-seeds.
--> The FLav [ combines Canada's legendary Romulan W/ the original Space Queen(Romulan X Cinderella 99) for a taste sensation hard to beat] Find it at seedbay flowers in 8-9 weeks. Its quality medical cannabis hybrids(indica heavy) for patients in need.
-->The Black by BCBD flowers in 7-8 weeks. Known for frosty, tight, dark nugs. 90% indica. Truly a nighttime smoke, and it is especially appreciated by medical users.
-->I just read about this one called Crima Blue (Uzbek Kush mother X DJ short BlueBerry male) It's medical indica dominant hybrid. With a cannabidiol count of 1.2% and a THC count hitting 18%. It delivers a powerful and sedating high with a strong body stone. Recommended medical uses range from muscle spasm therapy, multiple-sclerosis, to pain reduction in the neuropathy suffered by HIV/AIDs patients.
-->KushBerry (OG kush mother X Oregon BlueBerry father) 70%indica 30% satvia. Grows short and stocky. Entered to the Cannabis cup as Best Indica
WOW this was very cool, i had fun doing this research and i hope you find some good indica smokes. Happy growing. Let us know what you decide to go with and how that turns out for you.

Now days, even though I still buy the mag occassionaly, I think it has become way too commerical and has more advertising then actual informative articles. More a mag for kiddies and not the adults it was originally published for. :D
