Does dunking plants elimate spider mites?!? - WHAT DO YOU THINK?

These mites are really pissing me off, does dunking plants elimate spider mites?!? You know completely underwater, will this kill them? and if so, how long? I generally have been leaving my veg clones underwater for only under 10 seconds, but I has watering, not preventing pests..

I have no-pest strips and have sprayed safer neem oil, but they are still camped out on my mother plant.

theres no way to eliminate them damn thingsthey just go away for lil while but i hose them off our now in my apt i give them a shower b4 a couple day neem routine and that usually works for me then continue to neem new growth maintains control except in flower. if that happens my buddy has some organic crap that washes off and is supposedly safe for spray and pull and eat so only had to use once though and i couldnt taste it either but i washhed them first

bump - who about an electronic pest control device? do they control mites?
