Yellow / brown spots on leafs newbie help
Hello i have yellow/ brown spots on my leaf, i cut the lower leafs off as they where bad and drying out. I have been given it tap water which is ph6.2-8 and today for first time since planting i gave them some nutrients and ph was ph5.4-5.6 humidity 66% 25 degrees Celsius. they are under a 125watt cfl
The lights have been on 24 hours
I have now turned the light to 18-6
They are 2 G-13's, 1 Blue Cheese and 1 Violator Kush
You can look at the pics below
Please let me know what you think the problem is?
Cheers

Actually the plant seem healthy... But I've notice the Ph 6.2-8 does this mean between the two ? ph of 8 is really too high... If you mean 6.2 to 6.8 even there it is a little bit high.

Yeah, pH is off. It should be around 6.7, check the RUNOFF for that number. Your soil looks kinda heavy too- what kind is it?

Im using some rubbish £1.20 peat soil
I usually use tap water which varies from 6.2 to 8.0 but dont know how accurate my ph meter is?
What do you mean check the runoff how would i do this?

IF you water heavily, some comes out the holes. Check the pH of that. How are you checking it? Meter, probe, drops, or strips?

With any pH meter you should have a way to check accuracy, like a cheap bottle of liquid indicator drops, so that you at least have an idea it is working right.
Your plaNT doesn't actually look all that bad! Just liek you need some more light, and to let the soil dry out more between waterings, and next time you re-pot, use a decent potting soil with some extra perlite in it. Just a plain soil that is peat + lime + perlite is a classic mix. Don't put it in too big a pot, because you WANT to re-pot every 4-6 weeks for your roots to be happy.
