fine cuttings around the buds?
I was watching this movie: Stoned Free - Guide To Growing Cannabis, where it says you could cut those tiny leaves around buds and store them to make hashish. So he does so...
I was wondering, is there anything wrong with leaving those small leaves uncut? And so you're drying the stems with buds and those leaves on them altogether. Beacause i've been doing so since now.
Another question, if you were comparing potency of the buds and those fine leaves, what would be the (let's say) ratio between these two things, if you would smoke it separately?
also I am having this strange feeling i'm asking really stupid questions...am i correct?

so.
there is nothing 'wrong' with leaving the leaves on, people cut them because they are full of chlorophyl and generally provide a harsher smoke than just buds. by cutting them and making hash, you still get to smoke them, but in a different form. Hash is cool!
comparing potency is hard to do. it depends on how covered the leaves are which depends on how well you grew the plant, and its genetics.
you can cut the leaves and just smoke them without having to make hash. it just won't taste super good.
