I need some advice -

I have some plants started, and want to keep them wide and bush like, not so tall and yielding, i will update with pictures as time goes by... I've seen things like tying the plant down and it will grow up towards the light yet get bushier and still yield. FYI: It is only Day 2 an they are showing a lot of growth and to me are getting too tall already. Thanks in advance.
