Almost done need help to know for sure!

Ok, my plants are about 10 weeks into flowering and hairs are starting to turn somewhat red on some even a hot pink on others. I cant get my hands on a microscope strong enough so i was wondering if harvesting in early oct. was a good idea. Is there anyway besides the microscope that i can use to tell how much longer and when done? I live in ga. the temp is about 85-90 in the day and starting to get down to 47-60 deg. at night. Can someone plz help me with this!
