Dutchs first grow. (log)

Well i just finished my grow box a few days ago just still pondering on the last few items.

As this is my first grow I will need some help here and there so please check back from time to time.

The grow box is a wooden box with tin foil on the insides and lid and there are holes that are handles i plan to use for vents and for the lights wires.

The light i have set up is a 25 inch kitchen light i belive its 3500 warm or soft white. i will have to check. and edit. also i shoped at wal mart so if its a mess up just tell me quick i can return it no problem.

Its screwed into the box lid. fits real nice.

The soil i am going to pick up tomorrow i know it was a stupid thing to have forgotten but i was in a rush and i left my list at home.

I think I should just keep it basic for now and go with normal potting soil.

The seed is in a red plastic beer cup fill with
loose soil i found in the yard my mom just
used to protect the bulbs.

I dont think i messed up here. yet.

I placed serian wrap over the lid of the cup and put in in my grow box.

I havn't turned on the lights yet, i just wanted to give the plants something to sleep in until i get them the good soil tomorrow.

That being said.

so far so good the soil i will get when i wake up wait and see what happens to the seed in the normal soil and if it sprouts i ll transplant into the good soil and yeah.

i am keeping my fingers crossed and my grow log updated.

Any advice is wanted.
