lawsuit?

I fell at work and broke my shoulder...my drug test showed positive for marijuana...I know I cannot collect on workers comp because of this, but can I still collect on a lawsuit? By the way...the company I work for messed up and didn't send my urine sample into the lab for further testing to confirm my urine sample...but they have witness statements of other coworkers of me admitting marijuana use...great friends huh?

Sucks. You should be able to get a free consult with an attorney. Do that, they're who you need to be asking about a law suit. Or at the very least you can pull out the phone book and give a few a call, their paralegals / secretaries should be able to answer that question for you.

Why can't you get workers comp.I would think that they would have to prove beyond doubt that MJ use caused you to have an accident, if they can't then I would l think you could make a claim. I am not however an expert on American Law, what happened to make you fall ?

u would only think so... thats not how they see it though. I fog god's sake could not claim insurance on my ER visit cuz i had thc in my system... nada not even a penny would be paid by them and my records would be sent to my uni cuz insurance is provided by them

now im stuck with a $3000 ER bill
