HELP SUM TIPS NEEDED

how much do i need to water my plants how much vito link pro should i use how close should my 250w hps light be over my plants it is 1ft obove tips my plants are 2 weeks old

Hi there!
The top 2-3 inches of your growing medium/soil should be dry before you water. When you water, really saturate the soil. In general, you wantto keep the light as close as possible without burning the plants. Run a fan, so that it blows air between the tops of your plants and your light.

Start with your light 1-2 feet from the tops of your plants and move it closer by 1 inch everyday. Do the hand test... put your hand at the same level as the tops of your plants. If your hand can handle the heat, so can theplants..

yup, the hand test is perfect. use the back of your hand and find the heigth where it begins to feel uncomfortable...then i add a couple more inches for growth and watch em...

for instance, got a 1K sunmaster over a portion and it measures 10" from the tops right now (yes, i did measure it too). it will need to be raised tomorrow...(writes note to self)
