Anyone? :(
Loo closely on the damaged leaves to see if there are tiny blonde larvae that look like a sliver of wood.
Overall plant health looks pretty nice.
Ty for your reply,
I checked the under side of the leaves with a 30x light scope and I see little larvae crawling around. im guessing that would be thrips.from what i,ve read here it seems i should use sticky traps under the plant canopy.I read about the paper plate thing too but dont have room, canopy is very low. Also I,m going to pickup some neem oil today and try that .On top and bottom of leaves...right? ..sound about right? any other tips appreciated.
oh....the leaves on the affected plant are growing beyond the pots diameter
i guess i should keep him isolated. I,m guessing the larvae can drop from one leaf to anther pot.
Ty Stinky...your help here seems to be invaluable
BTW heres my other girls, 3 skunk and 3 kush. 2 been on 12/12 for 4 weeks now, the other 4 are 2weeks behind :)
this is the affected one now. :(
I should spray the other babies also with neem oil ?
sorry cant get clear close shots.
Be very careful with neem oil, and only use a tiny bit, and set your sprayer to the FINEST mist possible. Spray, let dry, repeat until you see just the SLIGHTEST increase in glossiness... if the leaves look like they have been coated in varnish, expect a suffocating plant within days.
Also be careful this close to harvest. It will make the buds taste poopy.
REally your infestation is not all that bad, and you can probably get through to harvest just fine. Then, bomb your grow area with a pyrethrin based bug bomb twice, spaced 4-5 days apart. This kills protected life stages too.
Remember with any oil product.... MIST LIGHTLY!!!
It seems that only one of the babies (pics shown earlier) is showing leaf damage. I have sprayed her twice and isolated her from the rest.
Should i spray the other babies too? or just bomb the room (with or without babies in?) before moving to bud room.
The 6 girls getting ready for harvest have had a rough time they've gone from seed to 12/12, back to veg, I took babies and then they went back to 12/12 with one transplant into the 8" pots. I realized Had some knats about 3 weeks into 12/12 and used a root soak. they seem to be bug free now.
i'm guessing some of my other issues i had were becouse they've become rootbound. too late now i think :( .
the babies wont be in those pots half as long as these 6 girls have :)
Those plants look to need larger pots.
Yes, you can bomb for bugs before moving the new clones into flower.
Nice clean setup.
Do those pots have built-in drip trays attached to them? That's why you had gnats.
Yes, the plants are rootbound, but the 2 girls are ready within a week and the other 4 are 2 weeks behind them. I,ll probably let them go till then.
Should the babies be ok to finish in 8" pots?
Can i bomb with plants in room?
Ty, I try very hard to keep things clean, uncluttered and bug free :') in those rooms.
The pots dont have built in trays but I've kept them underneath for draining when i feed......not good?
