Using CalMag & Liquid Karma

I don't actually have a problem...yet.
I am watering my current grow with RO water right now.
The plants are all in FFOF, doing very well. Check the link in my siggie for the grow log.
Question is, when do I need to start using CalMag. I understand that I need to because of the RO water, but I am wondering if anyone knows whether or not the FFOF actually has sufficient levels of the micros already in it?
Also, I believe that LK is a supplement used to enhance nutrient absorbtion and stimulate the plants. Does it make sense to use this along side with the calmag. Right now my plants are just into the early stages of veg. I did feed 1ml per gallon of each last night for the first time, so I hope that it won't have any adversse effects on them. I plan to incrimentally work the dose up, and using the LK every so often as well. Is what I am doing needed? Or am I just trying to do too much at this point? The general rule I have found on here is to start using nutes after 5 weeks at low end (if not half of low end) potency.

CalMag may be different though, I have a feeling that can be used a little earlier.

Fill out the trouble shooting form that is a sticky in the main "plant problem" forum. You will get much more help if you have that as it answers a lot of the ....what if..... questions.

I always heard not to feed nutes until you get 5 sets of mature leaves.;)
