Need your ideas for this stalk!

Hey all, havent made a thread in ages. I was recently given a giant box of stalks, the small ones are the width of a pencil and the big ones (the main stalk of the plants) are like three times the width of your thumb. I figured I could grind it up as small as possible and stick it in a bottle of eighty percent for some green dragon. Problem is its too tough for even serrated knives and I dont think anyone would loan me a food processor since it would just mess up the blades.

Id love to hear some creative solutions. I also own a still (legal here in New Zealand) think I could somehow distillate out the little THC in there? Cheers:thumbsup:

make a big ass walking stick and go hiking. Maybe im thinking too big. Make a makeshift table out of all the little twigs, and the thicker branches could be legs. Glue works wonders. picture frame, i know there has to be a picture of someones harvest around that would be worth it.

I just personally dont think that the main stems have enough thc in/on them to be of any inebriating value.

You could always throw a thicker one into the spokes of a kids bike to teach him a lesson that the only way weed is bad, if someone uses it against you. But that would be bad. What is wrong with me, i must be tired.

solution: (well i know about what u can do in America, but im sure similar things are found in NZ)

u can get electric kitchen grinders for like 8 bucks @ walmart

u can then use a gardening scissors also very cheap at stores to cut up the stems into smaller pieces and make small patches of them and grind each one separately, it gives u a mesh of them stems and also a find greenish powder, just use a kitchen screen ($1 item) and get the powder out, then u can do what u want with powder inclduding mixing it with what u toke on or topping it like kief...

and/or u can then throw them meshed up stems (it will look like gardening moss but with slimmer hairs and pieces) in your bottle and make some goodass drank!

forget damage to blades, those blades are quite tough unless u have really fat/wood-like branches there. just watch out not to burn out the grinder, read its manual and dont use the motor in long sessions... do it batch by batch and give the motor a lil break, manual should spell all these out

OR the cheapest way:

as i figured, most of THC on stems resides on surface of stems, not inside them, so u can get any knife and start scrapping the green outside surface of the stems, which will be excruciatingly frustrating for large amounts of stems... this way u r getting the same green powder produced by a grinder


i would go with 1st choice, dip the meshed stems in alcohol and use most of the powder for a batch of brownies!

if i knew the kind of people who would even have access to give away boxes of stalks i dont know what i would do with myself.

Make a pipe out of the biggest stem and go get some real weed and smoke it in a well made hemp pipe. :D

Id say a much higher portion of people grow their own here, where as most people seem to just not bother and buy it back home in America (just moved here from Cali).

Yeah, I was given a big T.V. box full of stems of all sizes, so Imam you think I could use that powder for baking? The chef where I worked recommended taking a recipie and substituting the couple cups of flour with my grinded stem powder. Im using a cheese grater at the mo, I smoked out some friends in exchange for them to all bring graters to mine and help me crack into the pile. I dont know whether I should use the powder for some green dragon or try to cook

i was thinking u got a typical priority mail size of box!!!! like about a large freezer baggie full of stems! my fault!:D

if u got so many stems, i would say use a deep fryer and fry all of them! ALL without ruining the oil... then go and cook some fatty fastfood style fried chicken or French fries and eat n get blown!

or u could make yourself a bhang on daily basis with that amount lol!

or, u could use them in some hand crafted art piece! sell it to a fellow pothead and use the cash or just give it away as gifts...

i for one used that very same type of grinder for what i would say was 1 lb of stems, but a TV BOX is gonna be different! too different perhaps lol

i would say cooking the powder for is the way to go, but generally speaking cookin will probably get u the most out of this pile of stems than any other method... or u can make the poder and stock it for future cookings too.... u r gonna get LOTS of this powder im sayin, alot!

2 lb of stems gave something around 50 grams of fine powder which will have a large volume if not pressured

hell u may even use that powder to make some half-assed hash :P

long ago, my ex-friend saw me doing this to stems, 2 weeks after that i saw him sellin a Gr of this shit for $50 as kief!!!!! idk if it will help everyone to get higher as normal kief would, but it certainly had some customers!
