Hello, im new to the board and (hopefully) new to being a medical marijuana patient. I have an appointment set up tommorow with these guys ^^^ or ladies. I was just wondering how lenient they are with their recommendations. I have a history of clinical depression and anxiety if my therapist ever wrote that down. I also had two surgeries for septic arthritis in one of my elbows that causes pain in both. So what are my chances?

Has your psych ever given you prescriptions? Or have do you some pain pill bottles left over from the operations? Pill bottles are great evidence. Any stray medical test orders, hospital bills, ANYTHING related to your problems? They all help.
I imagine you have some "pretty cool" scars from the operations (I work with kids all day- sorry). Show them to the doc- they alone should be enough with most cannabis specialists.
If you are going to change areas and get a new doc, be sure to get a copy of any of your medical records you can get your hands on before you move- ask the doctor or hospital. They make it WAY easier to get a rec!
Most folks get the rec they are trying for. It should be OK! Unless the doc thinks you're totally lying, or a cop, you will get the rec.

Go with confidence! I took my old pill bottles and old MRI results, walked out with my rec! He looked at none of it! Good luck, mmj is good for your condition!! I know! pr

Recomendations are that doc's business. I am sure it will work out, arthritis (i think) is probably the most common reason recomendations get written.
My brother got one and he never even took any medical papers, even tho he was supposed to. The doc just looked at his swollen knuckles and wrote him up.
Good Luck to you.

Just came around to the website today ( I think ill stay :rasta: ) and everything went smoothly. I didn't have any papers as well because my former doctors can't even fax my records over with a one day notice. It feels great to smoke again and even better that its legal. Im barely keeping myself awake and know that ill have the best sleep in weeks when i do knock out. Im estatic, I can finally get on with my life in much more productive manner.
