Any helpfull tips to get nice skunk??

hello friends of the green,
i am currently growing a few sweet afghans and they are cumin into 2weeks of flowering cycle, has anybody got any useful tips to get the taste and crystal production on the bud really nice?? please!! im growing under fluoros if that is any implications.
also can sum body please give me a detailled simple step by step stage of the final last weeks of flowering and exactly when to pick? i have dun alot of reading on this subject but it still confuses me!!!!!

Hey there... I can't give you any step by step thing as im not a guru either, but i can tell you some things.. if your 2 weeks into flower try getting a bloom fert and using that (read up on ferts @ sharp rubber duck before you use them), water the plants, but dont over water them, and look after them. Make sure 100% sure the dark period is complete darkness! When its time to harvest you should purchase a 10x magnifing glass and inspect the buds on your plant when roughly 70% of the little hairs WHICH USED TO BE milky white have turned orange/brown/reddish or at least they have turned a different color to milky white, then its at its peak and ready to be harvested any longer and the thc will degrade. Also when you have cut your plant down, hang the bunds upside down by a piece of string in a dark room not too hot best place would be your grow room, for about 3 - 4 days, untill they dry out, to check theyre dried properly see if you can snap the stem of the bud poking out of the bottom if you can it time to cure them, best way to do this is get a glass jar and pack them in push them into the jar and press them in, seal the jar with the lid and leave it for 1 - 2 weeks the longer you leave it the better the smell and potency will be, its like wine :) everyday its in the jar open the lid to let it breathe quickly then seal it up again, and then your ready to smoke it!

get a blooming fert and use that up untill the last two weeks of flowering.when u think there is only two weeks left start to flush ur plants. this means watering them with pure h20 and not giving them ne ferts wot so ever. this will get rid of any excess chemicals and make the buds taste like they should, rather than harsh and nasty.to flush ur plants (if ur growin soil, cuz i dont have a clue bout hydro) each time u water keep pouring water on them till the colour of the water comming out the bottom of the pots is clear. once u have achieved this dont fertilize again and only water after the soil has dried about 3cm down from the top
