what fans are the best

so i need a fan for my grow room and i wanted to know what are the best fans out there i dont want to buy a shity fan i want to buy the best lmk any info will help

quality inline fans like the vortex, canfan, fantech, and afew others

i was going to bye a can fan but people tell me that the inline fans are garbage and that i should use a squirrel cage fan what do u think

Inline fans CAN be garbage or they can be GREAT depending on the quality of the fan, of course. Can Fan is a very respectable company and you're good to go on one of those.

To answer the original Q, I think Roller Derby fans are the best, and after that, Scottish football fans and then of course fanboys. :D

squirrel cage fans are cheap and work but are a considerable mount noisier in the motor area. you can build a sound deadening box for them to help quiet it up pretty easily. most the noise you will hear from a quality inline fan is the noise of the exhaust side. if you put a carbon filter which i recommend for smell security it will dampen the noise to a respectable level.
