My new glass piece.

Hey guys, today for my birthday I got a new glass pipe; Not to mention weed and 100 bucks :), It's a small pipe with a nice size bowl, It's clear with a yellow tint, I hope it will be dark after some resin, but their seems to be lil scratches in the glass, I know there is nothing I can do cause this shit is mass produced and sent everywhere. But I figure I'll never clean it (only the bowl sometimes) so then the resin will 'strengthen' the pipe somewhat?

Would that work, anyway, I'll post pictures when I can.

ewww the resin will make all your hits taste really stale after awhile. I clean my bong probably once a week with salt and alcohol (water will not get the resin off). I heard of another method using milk and butter that I'm gonna try next.

congrats on your new piece. got one myself not that long ago. my advice is to never go anywhere near tile..... ever.

I don't think the resin would strengthen the glass, being the gooey material that it is. The scratches won't do anything as long as you take care of it (i.e. don't drop it). The resin is best taken care of with a straightened out paper clip. If you want to use salt and alcohol, do it after scraping because you won't get to smoke it otherwise.
