THC improves social skills?
Whenever, I hit up a sativa strain and decide to talk to some friends (who don't know I'm high) I always seem to say the "right thing" and can reduce a group to tears of laughter over and over :D. It seems effortless to me; almost as if I'm watching myself do this from the 3rd person and I can only be amazed. Same goes with other more meaningful conversation.
THC improves conversational skills with others?
Am I alone on this one?
-I'll be checking in tomorrow ;)

I agree completely.
I believe that weed lowers my anxiety and conversations with people who I would normally be intimidated to joke around with, just flow effortlessly.

i would say that if im high, i dont talk to people as much, there are a select few who i talk to normally, and then the few who i talk to when high. Though if i were to be engaged in conversation while high, i am a bit more open to discussion of the strangest things. But overall it activates my shiness gene, and already being much of a wallflower it just increases the effects. But as i said, once i get going while high, its harder to stop than continue.

Yes, it also happens with me... exaclty like if i were watching myself from "outside", like if i were outside myself controlling it, like if my body were a remote-controlled "robot"... and as my self is not immersed, into my body, it can think clearly about anything without being involved by it... and so its very easy to find the "right" thing to say... instead talking anything that comes to the mind, which is what almost everybody does, and what leads them to talking many things they wouldnt like to if they had any choice.
And i try to live in this "detached" state as much as i can... even when sober... i try to keep my "self" apart from my body, and so to keep it always cool and always be apt to think clearly, without being involved by anything.

Eh, the more I smoke bud, the more I want to withdraw from people. I think it's just the way I am more than the pot.
Although I find Asperger bit interesting. What you described fit me to a tee. I'm NEVER there, I get distracted easily and intensely singulary focused whether it's a task or worry. When people are going up, I'm going down, you know what I mean?

Are you sure that's not just because of the 'negative connotation' associated with being high?

If I smoke a little my social skills are about the same, sometimes a little better. If I'm really baked though, especially on a strong indica my social skills get worse. Sometimes get a bit lost in my thoughts and zone out for awhile instead of chatting or I'm too tired to make much of an effort. Depends though, if I'm with close friends we have good baked discussions about 'deep' stuff :rastasmoke:

It depends on the person and the strain, yeah with sativa it's easy to get creative and goofy and just blabber and philosophize. But with indica you could easily get monged out and jus not talk a lot but think loads. Cannabis can be highly introspective, it really depends.

In general:
Indica = Introversion
Sativa = Extraversion

Well whenever my girl and I are having problems, I roll up a nice j of some aussie blues, smoke it with her, and we manage to solve all are problems by the end of the conversatoin. So yea... I agree with you :pimp:
