Who can legally observe a Urine Test?

Hi,

I've been on probation for about 4 years, I almost always dilute and it almost always works. (tyvm N2)

BUT Recently they switched probation agents on me and I was required to report about 2 weeks before my scheduled date. Of course I was dirty, and I was honest with my agent about that (no jail time yet!).

However, I was referred to a "Day Report" program. Every day I get to go to a building and blow in a breathalyzer and maybe take a "random" UA. These tests are preformed by Volunteers (no community corrections officers). Recently I saw one of these volunteers follow someone into the bathroom for a UA.

I know my probation officer, or any other corrections officer may observe my test, that's just how it works. But, what about these people that work at the Day Report place? Remember, they are just volunteers, not cops, not POs not even AODA certified.

I've searched for quite a long time on the internet and these forums and I still haven't found a straight-cut Yes, or No answer and I was hoping someone here may have some knowledge about the legality of Untrained volunteers observing my urine test.

To be honest, its humiliating enough to piss in front of anyone, (and I know sometimes this is just the way it is). But I will not let them observe me if they have no right to. :wtf:
