What's the most ignorant, stupid comment you've ever heard about weed?

The other week I was out having a drink with a friends family and they were talking about one of their relatives being thin; and they were all like "oh it's that cannabis stuff that's keeping her thin, she needs to get off it" WTF!!!

I've also met people who think crack and weed are the same thing! lol

Or when there's a car crash or something and somebody says "oh, the driver was probably out of his/her mind on that pot stuff"

The people who make these silly, ignorant uninformed comments are usually no younger than about 40, they're all living in the past. They get fed a load of bullshit/propaganda by the government and it sticks with them, it's been etched into their minds and if somebody tries to tell them different they don't want to know. When I hear these stupid comments about cannabis it pisses me off but at the same time it's kinda funny and makes me laugh at how dumb these people are. I've tried to inform people like members of my family that weed is a beneficial drug and is not dangerous, not addictive, can't overdose etc... but it goes in one ear and out the other, they don't want to know and don't care yet they still enforce their stupid opinions. It's probably because I'm young that they don't take me seriously, I guess we'll have to wait for the government to tell everybody that this drug is harmless because it seems that the government is the only thing that most people will listen to.
When cannabis is legalised, I hope they praise the drug with the same effort and publicity that they used to trash it like when they made that stupid fucking film--

What I love to see are people against cannabis who smoke cigarettes and drink.
You ask them why it is okay to do those activities and the usual response is "alcohol and tobacco arn't drugs like marijuana".

Ive heard that many stupid comments from people who have never even tried it.The people i know that have smoked for years like 25 yrs say its all good and theres nothing wrong with them.My mum knows i smoke and she hates it but i just be truthful and ive heard some of the most ridiculous stories that just make me laugh and then i tell her that it makes me want to smoke more.Just for some fun to get her going.

One kid I knew thought it caused brain cancer, actually. He thought it was more harmful than alcohol, so he would drink himself stupid and never touch a damn doobie.

Fortunately, he had an open mind (either that or he was so stupid that anything he hears he believes--right or wrong) and a friend and I convinced him to finally try it. Of course, now he loves it and he can't believe all the misinformation he had.
