Washington Doctors

I have an appointment to see my doctor about pain issues related to my knee. In the past my lower leg got turned 1/4 turn toes facing right foot. This has been a pretty constant pain for the last 10 years, but the pain has been increasing over the last 1 1/2 years (feels like a knife going into my knee at times). Anyway, I am not big on all the man made drugs out there due to alot of the side effects and ingredients. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions as to how to approach my doctor about getting a reccomendation for the use of MM. My doctor is a Naturopathic Doctor, if this helps.
