Ganja Goo Balls.

Greetings all! I just signed up and thought a good first post would be to share my recipe for Ganja Goo Balls. I got it from a guy who used to sell them at dead shows and if you use good butter they will kick your @$$!!

Okay, so here's how you make them:

1) get a bowl to mix the stuff up in, about 2 qt size.
2) Scoop in a lump of your dankest cannabutter about 1/2 cup
** I use 1/2 nugs 1/2 leaf/trim in my cannabutter to make it extra stoney.
3) Microwave the cannabutter until it's all melted, you can melt it over the stove too.
3) Scoop in an equal amount of peanut butter (again, about 1/2 cup)
4) Squirt some honey in it, about 1/4 cup or half the amount of cannabutter
5) Add your solids, I start w/ about 2 cups and stir it up, then keep adding until the melty concoction of butters and honey stop coating the inside of the bowl and it all starts to lump up.

So the solids are some sort of oatmeal/granola mixture. The oatmeal is important because it soaks up the cannabutter best so use about 1/2 oatmeal and 1/2 granola or breakfast cereals or seeds or whatever. I hear that reeces peanut butter cups cereal tastes really good.

After you get it all mixed up, put it in the refrigerator for about 10-20 minutes then scoop/roll into balls. The danker the butter and the bigger the balls the more it'll mess you up!

Kablizzo welcome to the boards and sweet first post. My first gooball experience was after a dead show many moons ago. It was a wonderful comedown from a night of magicaL happenings. They can be quite energizing and very relaxing at the same time. I have been making them for the past year and always have a batch in the fridge. I find myself nibbling often.
The peanut butter can be switched or halved with other butters like Almond or Macedamia, and i like to use Agave Nectar in place of some honey.
The nice thing about them is that anything goes. I have never made two of the same batches. I like putting some maple and brown sugar oatmeal in them, and my main base is "Flax plus Granola cereal" yummy.
