anyone planning on watching the Perseid meteor shower?

Not quite sure what to expect but when i was 19 there was a great shower that blew my mind. Not going to miss this one.... what should i expect in Norcal. what are your plans? I live out in the sticks and plan on being face to the sky in a nearby park with a huge opening from the trees! Blazed of course....but couldnt locate and mind bending psychedelics. oh well, enjoy!

Well... i looked to the Perseus direction last night, when i did see this thread, but didnt see even one falling star... maybe it was because here is not dark enough... anyway, maybe ill have more luck next year...
