bubble hash water - new possibilities?...
i've been bottling the water that comes out of the cold-extraction bubble hash making process, using a washing machine and a set of filters (in a clean setup).
the brew that comes out of this process was very potent and delivered a very nice and mellow body-high (it is also quite dehydrating). fresh trim or bud makes a nice clear brew. btw, one small load in a washing maching delivers usually more than 20 gallons! - and u still have all your bubble hash....
imo, all the thc molecules that didn't end up caught in the bags are still floating in the brew. the thc seems to be suspended in the water, and a bit may actually dissolve in the water.
with so much hash water, it should be dispensed widely to patients in dispensaries (and amsterdam-style cafes). one can also make ganja ice (to spike any drink, or for the next load of bubble hash making). i've also used it to make coffee/tea by boiling the hash water and then put coffee or tea into it - very nice, too. other possibilities include, perhaps, fermenting the brew into ganja-wine, cooking chicken soup, etc., etc.
i have a few catchy names for the brew: Cali-Kava, 4h20, waste water, holy water, hash water, etc.
i'm interested in feedback from people who are doing it, have tried it, or whatever, and also about new uses for the hash water as an ingredient in other foods and drinks.

So I would imagine it's similar to drinking bong water?

i don't think so... i never drank bong water (and i doubt that i would...) my problem with bong water is that it traps too much combustion products and other shit from burning whatever is being smoked.
in contrast, the cold extraction method separates the thc from the plant material. after a washing machine went thru it soak/agitate/spin cycles a few times, the herb is reduced to 'spinach' and ALL THE THC is in the water. that means that what comes out of the washing machine is highly enriched h2o - and it remains so, even after you got your bubble hash....
it is also important to run a clean operation - because we're now dealing with food

I've never done a cold water extraction.... but your method uses a washing machine? like, the kind that you put clothes and detergent into for washing? Like.... seal up the bud in the bags/filters, throw it in a clean washing machine, catch the water that comes out of it to drink later? I'm a bit confused.... and seems like a waste of water?

Yea...this method is confusing the poop out of me...
bubble hash water - new possibilities?...
not exactly....
ice and herb gets washed like clothes - small load, cold-cold, but then the outflow from the machine, instead of going into the sewer, goes into a barrel with filters. the green stays in the first (crudest) filter, and then comes the bubble hash - and at the bottom of the barrel is the 'waste water' - which you then treat like spinach juice (which is, btw, the way the ganja tastes after the wash).
its sorta the opposite of a dirty wash in the laundry

What about decarbolaxation? You can drink it all day, and if the THC hasn't been heated to activate, your just drinking pot flavored water,no high ensuing. And as far as I know, THC wont bond to water...

Yes water wont bond with THC but that doesnt mean you wont get high. THC doesnt need heat to be activated...only dried! I use bubble bags and love them. Once my scuff leaves are dried I throw them into the bags follow the process and out comes hash. can be smoked... often i put it in butter for edibles! heating is ever required. I believe that if you drank my excess water you could get some high. But why.,, that crap cant taste good and i have a bunch of hash. please explain to me how destroying your washing machine makes it better? I get nice quality bubble has with 5 gal bags and 5 gal bucket....no need to make all my clean cloths smell like weed!

this, imo, is a common misperception that resulted in tons of thc down the drain - to which i say: try it first before overtheorizing, my friends.
the little thc particles, smaller than the micron rating of the last/final filter bag are "in suspension" in the liquid media - kinda like carrot juice (but more betta).

you're right on the chemistry, theforthdrive.
if you treat the hashwater as a beverage, then you still have all the regular goodies from the fruits of your labor, but u also get 20-25 gallons of ganja water... what would you do with so much ganja water? and this is not "some high" - you actually get very wasted on this 'waste water.'
my point is this this 'waste water' is very healthy (if you're willing to run a clean operation). imo, this ganja water is a better than alcohol (which i already drank enough of, and so i don't do no more), and because we have so much of it - 20+gal/wash - there's enough for many
call it peace water, if you will
i actually recommend doing it with fresh herb and/or trim. the water comes out very clear and it has the best shelf live. it is very potent (and dehydrating).
dig this - make ganja ice.... for your next bubble hashing or for your favorite drink
you're not destrying the washing machine, btw, because of the herb (which will taste almost like spinach and is good in an omlete) will stay in the drum of the washing machine, but you do may want to pay attention to the filters in your system.
have a drink, buddy
