Hey guys, sorry I disappeared :P was having quite a few issues with my internet and then decided I wanted to take a vacation, im starting this post about a week before pictures but feel free to start conversation until the seeds pop :) hope all my lurkers come back and I wish the best to my friend GL420 who appears to have gotten banned as I was away :(
What's the setup for grow #2 buddy?
And it's really too bad about GL...no one seems to know why he got the boot (Sept the mods)
Well sunny glad you have tuned in as I got my internet fixed and have no more problems :D below im posting a picture of my set-up, gonna use same grow box with 5 gal buckets rather then a black recycling bin, im putting in 4 blue mystics so this should be exciting :D
Each Blue dot represents a Daylight 6500* K Bulb
Each Red dot represents a Fall Spectrum 2700* K Bulb
How I set it up is took 4 normal reflector floresence setups and put the hangers threw the plywood, I took out the bulbs for safety while welding the other floresences to the inside of the batwing reflector making each set up 6 bulbs rather then 2 :stoned: Not sure if anyone else has tried this but im going to attempt it and hope im the first :) if anyone is inspired by the idea I will let you know how it goes.
interesting...I wonder how effective your CFL grow is going to go...
Well its not a complete CFL grow, This will only be for veg but im using some red specturm to see if my theory of keeping the plants shorter and have fatter leaves off some red light with the esssential blue light
It will have a large effect!
I did an experiment a year ago for a class of mine and I had a red, blue, and green light and the red light was F*****G amazing compared to the rest!!!

Well sorry its taking so long but iv been having some difficulties setting the lights up and keeping an average temp, seems everytime I get the lights up another fixture falls out... We will get theese little guys up and runnin soon!
