quick question
i heard that tin foil is bad and cuases heat spots. i dont have any mylar and i dont really want to go buy something else for my grow, im sick of buying shit. so jsut wondering if plain white computer paper would be better then tin foil or whats a good home item thats better then tin foil.

quick question
You are completely and utterly right about the poor reflective qualities of tin foil. Learned that from the all-knowing StinkyAttic.
If you don't feel like buying anything then I guess white paper is better than tin foil...even though it will be a pain in the ass to put up and isn't cleanable. Aside from the paper though, if your walls are already white then that's already one of the suggested methods of light reflection, just not top notch. You won't be getting top notch anyway since you're not buying anything

quick question
Yeah, a fan and another light- or a COUPLE more lights!
The only serious drawback with paper-lined walls is the fire hazard of them. So keep all potential ignition sources like lights well away from the sides of the room.
When you have a chance, try running out to walmart and getting some camping emergency blankets (mylar) and spray-gluing them flat to the insides of your box. Those are good for a very small space.

quick question
I second stinky's concerns with safety. IMHO, the possible loss of a couple of lumens, isn't worth the risk. Also, the white paper is too far away to reflect CFL light enough to do much good anyway. Saftey first and always.
Also, most CFI's are not warranteed against water damage, and are not intended for wet enviornments. Might want to at least keep it off the floor when watering.

quick question
thanks man, when i water the plants i make sure not to miss any of the pot so i dont have water on the paper anyways, but thanks. i would take down the paper but idk i did alot of work putting it up, and if it iosnt makeing a difference either way ill leave it up. i have enough room in there for the lights to be away from the walls. the only thing im concered with is if the fan overheates or something, seeing as it was a 8$ P.O.S. fan if ya no what i mean. i just mighted the ligths right above the babies. im pretty sure this ios gna be a nice grow, just as long as all you keep helping me out!!
